Thursday Sit and Knit Night:
Our monthly Sit and Knit night is an informal gathering where knitters, crocheters, lacemakers, and tatters can bring their current WIPS (works in progress) to work on, relax and share a good conversation with others who appreciate the handmade arts.
We meet the last Thursday of every month from 5:30 – 8:00.
Title: Knitting with Confidence

Day/Time: Wednesdays 11:00 – 1:00 PM
Instructor: Becky Curran
Skill level - all
This is an open class where participants can bring an existing project with which they are having problems or choose a new project for a new challenge. This is a great way to finish up those UFOs that have been hanging around and finish up gifts for Christmas.
Title: Fixing Your Mistakes
Dates: 12/11 OR 12/18
Day/Time: Tuesday 11:00 – 1:00 PM
Instructor: Nancy Currie
Skill level - all
We all make knitting mistakes. The trick is in learning how to fix them. In this class participants will learn to read their knitting, recognize the most common mistakes how to fix them, and knowing when to frog and when to tink (and what those terms mean). There is homework for this class. Participants must knit two four inch swatches, one stockingnet and one garter, in worsted weight yarn, preferably a solid light color.
Class size is limited. Payment is required at time of registration.
Class supplies to be purchased at KnitWorks Yarn.
10% off supplies for class, excluding pattern and sale items
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance in order to receive store credit.
Classes require a minimum of 3 students. Should the class not fill, then KnitWorks will refund class fees.
